A Lord of the Rings climbing path opens up in Spain


The Lord of the Rings fans can now head to Spain in order to get a slice of the
Middle Earth. There is a new hiking trail that has just opened in Spain, and is going to take you through the northern part of the Sierra de Guadarrama. The trail is called
El Camino del Anillo, which translates to the Ring Road.

The Lord of the Rings hiking trail is a total of 122 km long, and has been divided into eight segments. You can complete this trail within a week’s time. During this adventurous hiking trail, as you conjure images of The Lord of the Rings, you will find yourself coming across some of the most beautiful places in Spain. You will pass through Horcajuelo de la Sierra, Buitrago del Lozoya, and the White Tree of Gondor that is located in Torrelaguna.

The trail is a great opportunity to explore the beauty of central Spain. The authorities have urged hikers to stay at hotels and hostels run by locals. Moreover, there are some exciting stay options for you that will only compliment the Lord of the Rings theme. One place at Montejo de la Sierra has even organised an exhibition with Tolkein as a theme. It is really a paradise for Lord of the Rings fans!
