We were lucky enough to spend our honeymoon on Rarotonga and Aitutaki <3 My husband is from New Zealand, where we lived at the time, and from there it's reasonably close and affordable to fly there. It really is one amazing and mesmeringly beautiful place and I am sure that one day we will be back (with our two little boys in tow <3 )

My husband and I had honeymooned in the Cook Islands in July 2019. We are from the USA and the Cook Islands are a bit unknown to most Americans. But we wanted to go to a place that was a hidden gem. We were not disappointed. We stayed in Rarotonga and Aitutaki. Both islands were truly paradise on earth. The most beautiful islands we’ve ever seen with some of the friendliest people we’ve met and we are a well travelled couple. We can’t wait to go back!
