  1. I was fortunate enough to live on St. Croix for 3 months back in the early 2000s; I believe it was 2006 or 2007. Life changing! I'm definitely going to retire there. If you've never been, GO!!!!!! The magic of these islands will change you for the better!!!!!! I can't speak highly enough about the USVI. ๐ŸŒž๐ŸŒด๐ŸŒž๐ŸŒด๐ŸŒž๐ŸŒด๐ŸŒž๐ŸŒด

  2. Just read a Danish triology about the slavetrade, the virgin islands and the uprising. Very compelling and sad stuff to read! But so happy it got abolished and that the islands now thrive ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. St Croix! Not as touristy calm and beautiful. Good foods, beaches and gardens. Easy going locals who are very tolerant of mainlander driving. It's home the day I retire, soon.

  4. I live on St Thomas, and I frequent Coki Beach at least 3 or 4 times a week. Steer clear of the left half of the beach (if you're looking out at the water, your left side), and I say this for several reasons: the swimming, snorkeling and water clarity are far better on the right half. Also, the servers and businesses on the left half of the beach are rude, greedy, pushy, and an embarrassment to the entire place. They will scream and argue directly in front of guests and curse at you if you choose not to do business with them. Eat at Simply Delicious for the best Caribbean food on the beach (and no drama)!

  5. home sweet home !!!!
